About Jenson Mak

Jenson ‘The Run Doc’ Mak is a healthy ageing and longevity specialist who discovered the elixir of youth through running, transforming himself from the Fat Doc to the Run Doc.

On the precipice of ‘subhealth’, with high blood pressure, insomnia, work stress, and mental health disorders, he developed a strong desire to better experience the life events of his three children, which drove him to improve his physical and mental health.

As well as being an accomplished runner, Jenson is a clinical researcher, senior lecturer in clinical medicine, and justice of the peace. He’s also a certified primal health coach and one of the first to become level three performance development coach in road, trail, and ultra running with Athletics Australia. For leisure, he enjoys singing and reading about psychology.
