You Can’t Beat Me

Have you ever been pushed to the edge of breaking? Have you ever felt too worn down to keep fighting? Have you ever wanted to quit and admit defeat? You’re not alone.

Crippling pain, shock diagnoses, shattered dreams, brutal treatments, multiple surgeries, demoralising setbacks – Zack Condick has been through hell and lived to write about it.

When an autoimmune issue led to life-threatening bone cancer, Zack’s world collapsed in an instant. Facing gruelling chemotherapy, complex surgery, the prospect of losing his leg, and a low chance of survival, he had no choice but to brace himself for the fight of his life – and fight he did.

In You Can’t Beat Me, you will witness the resilience of the human spirit, the power of alternative medicine, and the value of never admitting defeat.

The tough times can either make us or break us. Don’t let them break you. Zack is living proof that it’s always worth fighting, no matter the odds. You are unbeatable.

About Zack Condick

Zack Condick is an author, athlete, professional speaker, and cancer survivor.

When an autoimmune issue cut short a promising career in Aussie rules football, Zack channelled his passion into his carpentry business. However, after being diagnosed with a rare bone cancer with low odds of survival, he was forced to give up his business to fight for his life.

Determined to defy the odds, Zack explored alternative therapies to complement his conventional treatment of gruelling chemotherapy and complicated surgeries. The complex and relentless nature of his condition meant he was at real risk of losing his leg, and he had to fight every step of the way to keep it. With the birth of his son Hunter, Zack found a new purpose, a new reason to keep fighting.

Now Zack’s mission is to give back in every way possible. Discovering a passion for disability support, he helps others through their own challenges, providing support and a strong role model to those who need it. By sharing his story, Zack aims to inspire others experiencing adversity and extreme hardship to keep fighting, no matter the odds. He knows the fight isn’t over until you say it is.

Although limited by his leg, Zack still has a passion for sport, and he is training to one day compete in the Paralympics.

He enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time in the outdoors. To Zack, family is everything, and his son Hunter, partner Tessa, and dog Fawn are the lights of his life. After everything he has been through, he cherishes every moment he gets to spend with them.
