I am also the host of the Midlife Women’s Reset Health Retreat, where I empower women to rejuvenate their health and embrace the next chapter of their lives.

Let us get to know you a little better by answering these quickfire questions:

Aunty Estelle, she is the most positive person I’ve ever met. She chooses happiness and contribution every day. She is my spiritual mentor.

Who inspires you the most and why?

The women I work with have inspired me the most. Each one is unique, facing a variety of life challenges, yet they all share a common thread of courage, strength, and resilience. None of us are immune to life’s difficulties, but these women consistently rise above them, ready to shape a better future for themselves and those they care about. Their determination and unwavering spirit are truly inspiring.

What is your coffee order?

Small long black.

What inspired you to write this book?

I was inspired to write this book because so many women are caught off guard when perimenopause begins. They often feel confused and uncertain about what’s happening to their bodies during this transition. My goal was to educate women and provide them with natural options to support themselves during this time and beyond, empowering them to navigate this journey with confidence and clarity.

How did you find the process of writing and publishing your book?

The process of writing and publishing my book was both challenging and rewarding. I initially began writing without much focus on structure or readability, just pouring my thoughts onto the page. When I started working with Dean Publishing, Susan and her team were instrumental in helping me shape my manuscript into a coherent and engaging book. Their guidance was invaluable in transforming my ideas into something truly readable. Attending the book retreat was a pivotal moment for me – it not only refined my writing but also gave me the confidence and tools to become a published author.

What surprised you most about the writing process?

What surprised me most about the writing process was the critical importance of structure. In hindsight, I realised how much smoother things would have been if I had planned out my chapters from the start. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely begin with the book retreat, where I could map out the structure before diving into the writing process.

What do you hope the reader gets from reading this book?

I hope readers take away that menopause is a normal and natural process—one that shouldn’t be feared. The woman who emerges on the other side of this transition has the potential to be the healthiest, happiest, and best version of herself. This book offers multiple natural options to help you navigate and transform your menopausal transition with confidence and ease.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to write a book but doesn’t know how?

My advice for someone wanting to write a book is to find a mentor – someone with experience and a history of success to guide you through the process. Having that support can make all the difference. For me, attending Dean Publishing’s book retreat was a game changer; it provided the structure, guidance, and encouragement I needed to bring my book to life.
