Triple-board certified medical specialist, author, fundraiser, researcher, husband, and father of three beautiful children.
I also have a doctor of philosophy in clinical medicine on vitamin D in hip fractures.

Apart from Trailblazing, it’s 1984 by George Orwell.

Who is your role model?
My late mother and grandmother.
Who in your life has inspired you the most and why?
My paternal grandmother because she rarely complained, even though life was tough and she was afflicted with osteoarthritis in her back, hips, and knees from years of activity. Loved the way she was able to grit things out. And also my mother, as she was never a quitter!
What is your coffee order?
Latte
Pet peeves?
People who are talented but are not prepared to work hard to fulfil their destiny.
What inspired you to write this book?
My late grandmother and mother, who showed me the importance of developing your own voice to tell your own story, to leave a positive legacy and perhaps inspire others.
How did you find the process of writing and publishing your book?
Less painful than going to the dentist haha.
What surprised you most about the writing process?
Sometimes by having focused sessions over multiple occasions and obtaining an experienced team, a book can be written relatively painlessly.
What do you hope the reader gets from reading this book?
Running is an effective elixir to retain or perhaps restore youthfulness and vitality. What’s more important in life – more quality time or more money?
What advice would you give to someone who wants to write a book but doesn’t know how?
